On 07-01-22, Ernest Jenning Record Co.. will release a new collection of Nonconnah material. It’s called ‘Don’t Go Down To Lonesome Holler’. The limited physical edition will be available as two 90-minute cassettes w/ a special booklet that features some of our photographic and design work alongside experimental writings from both myself and our friend Raymond Cummings. The gorgeous cover art magick for this album was painted by Todd Wesley Emmert upon hearing the music. These sounds are gathered from unreleased material recorded between 2015-2021, and they feature scraps of noise provided by past and present members of No Age, Do Make Say Think, Swans, Three Mile Pilot, Archers of Loaf, O'Death, SAVAK, droneroom, Benoît Pioulard, The Love Language, Minsk, Lazy Legs, Panda Riot, Thalia Zedek, Raccoo-oo-oon, Great Lakes, Blvck Hippie, Tav Falco - Panther Burns, Cinemechanica, Cloudland Canyon, The Ladybug Transistor - official, The Everymen, MMOSS 2006-2013, and more. It’s exhausting, self-indulgent, willfully pretentious, and extremely messy. We hope you love it.
Thus ceremonially ends the first phase of Nonconnah, with the second phase to generate shortly.
Thanks for continuing to listen.
Thrilled to share the exciting news that I've been awarded a two-week composer's
residency at the prestigious Kimmel Harding Nelson Center For The Arts in Nebraska
City, Nebraska. This will run from December 5th through 16th. I feel incredibly honored
to have beaten such long odds (only 13% of applicants accepted out of this year's pool),
and I'm certain my time there will result in some incredible music. Much more soon!
We're excited to finally share that our third full-length Nonconnah release, 'Songs For
And About Ghosts', will be available on 02/12/2021 via our friends at Ernest Jenning
Record Co. This will be a limited edition run of 300 vinyl LPs. The album features
contributions from our friends Owen Pallett (Final Fantasy, Arcade Fire) and Jenn
Taiga. We hope you find it enjoyable!

As always, we're deeply grateful for your support and belief in our work. More soon.
